Team at Witches Falls Cottages are very proud of what we have achieved at our Cottages and believe that we offer visitors a unique and different accommodation experience on beautiful Tamborine Mountain.
We will continue to work very hard at improving the services and facilities that we have to offer our valued guests.
Often the changes that we make or the additional Packages that we offer are suggested by past guests (many of them repeat visitors) and we appreciate the feedback and listen to what our guests have to say. This way we can continue to develop Witches Falls Cottages as the premier accommodation experience on Tamborine Mountain.

2019 - Witches Falls Cottages have been awarded the prestigous and coveted Star Ratings Gold List ratings Logo.
Presently, 90% of Australian travellers desire the Star Ratings plan to determine the quality of guest accommodation centers. The assessment criteria was changed in 2011 to reflect this; today, the criteria utilized to identify a Star Rating have been ranked by Australian visitors according to what's essential to them.
The Star Ratings Gold List commemorates only those properties which hold themselves to the independent quality requirements.
A Star Rating is determined by more than 200 requirements that have actually been ranked by Australian tourists according to what's important to them. The rating is separately verified ensuring customers can have confidence in the ranking designated to each property.
They are then aggregated over millions of previous guest scores throughout hundreds of websites around the globe to display the finest Australian hotels, motels, serviced apartments, caravan parks, hosted accommodation and self catering properties.
The 'star' symbols are a licensed hallmark and can only be utilized by properties that have been accredited to use them by the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC).

Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival 2011
Category Winner - Best in Festival
In October 2011 we decided it was time to claim back the title they won in 2008 for their amazing Scarecrow Witch some of you might remember.
This year the entry was a huge Scarecrow Wizard complete with Owl, Apprentice, magic mushrooms etc. The hard work paid off and Chief Wizard won 'Best in Festival'.
The Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival is in the meantime a well established yearly event which locals and visitors very much look forward to during the year.

On a lovely Friday night in November 2010, we were awarded with a win for Queensland Tourism Awards 'Best Hosted Accommodation'.
The Hosted Accommodation category is open to owner/operator accommodation providers offering a high degree of personal contact with guests. Entry is open - but not limited to - bed & breakfast, farm stay, cottage or other intimate, boutique, colonial or heritage accommodation.

We received well deserved recognition for the effort put into the refurbishment and re-development of Witches Falls Cottages on Mount Tamborine in June 2008 at the inaugural Scenic Rim Tourism Awards.
Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival 2008
Category Winner - Best Creative
In June 2008 we received an award that they are especially proud of. The inaugural annual Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival with more than 200 scarecrows (some alarmingly looking a lot like their makers), on the 'Scarecrow Trail' dotted around the mountain, is a collaboration of both local businesses and residents. Much fun was had by all and the Festival will be repeated annually.
