COVID-19 Information Notice - – We are open*!

*Due to limited capacity we are currently unable to offer single nights even for midweek stays.

For the wellbeing of both our guests and staff we have a Covid Safe Plan in place!

We have updated our cleaning and sanitising procedures which are in line with Industry and QLD Government guidelines.

At the entry to our reception area you will find a hand sanitising station (Mick, the local timer craftsman, did a wonderful job) and for guests who prefer not to visit our reception we offer a check in option directly from the car park to the cottage. We kindly ask guests and visitors to follow the signs and rules in regards to social distancing.

We welcome visitors who would like an inspection of our cottages. Come and see us at reception upon arrival at our property. Visitors and guests are required to sign in at reception.

Guest Information is available on a laminated sheet and additional detailed information is provided on our website. We will give you the link at check-in.

Our staff have completed the TAFE course for COVID Safe Work Training for Dining In and we have strict food safety procedures in place.

All our careful preparations are to provide a safe environment for your well deserved getaway, as well as keeping us and our staff safe.

Witches Falls Cottages has prepared it staff and business to comply and work within the COVID Clean Practicing Business program (Queensland Tourism Industry Council - QTIC) and we proudly display the logo so that our guests can feel even more protected and comfortable when holidaying with us and away from home.

What does COVID Clean cover?

In compliance with QLD Health directives, and recommended Workplace Health & Safety and infection control standards and specifically tailored for tourism businesses.

Addressing pre-screening, social distancing, enhanced hygiene and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
Training of our staff on infection control and hand and respiratory hygiene
Training of our staff on new health and safety procedures specific to our operation
Creating cleaning policies, procedures and checklists tailored to our business
Creating a COVID19 Risk Register
COVID Safe Business Plan to protect our staff and our guests
