We spent two wonderful nights in Cottage 5 - one of the rain forrest cottages. A very charming, warm & cosy cottage with a two person spa bath in a very large bathroom, half of which is enclosed in glass walls and adjoins a small courtyard with a tropical garden, giving the feeling of bathing outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed doing absolutely nothing but relaxing, enjoying some local wine, cheese & produce and the gratefully received complimentary port & chocolates. The breakfast hampers are a lovely homely touch, thank you.

We will be back.

Just a short drive from the airport we arrived at our little tropical haven! Set just a 10 min stroll from the Main Street the cottages are positioned rights above the Witches Falls walk.

The hosts were very friendly and informative and showed us through our cottage. Fully equipped kitchenette with everything we needed.

The breakfast hamper was delicious! We tried the hot hamper and the next day the cold and were extremely satisfied with both.

Beds comfy with extra pillows and blankets if you needed.

Spa was set in the bathroom with a glass ceiling so you can look out to the trees and the stars.

Cost was very reasonable for what you got.

Massage- we had a pregnancy massage and daddy massage in our room. Both of which were incredible.

I would highly recommend a visit!!!

Witches Falls Cottages was truly a perfect getaway. Just a short walk from from a shopping centre and some great restaurants the cottages are in a perfect location- and let's not forget the breathtaking sunset at the nearby lookout. Our hosts, Kelly and Mark, were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast hampers were divine, and so was the cheese platter! All in all, an amazing stay in an amazing place. We will definitely be returning in the future!

And the fresh made bread every morning was fantastic (and still warm). Witches Falls Cottages will always hold a special place in my heart.

Took myself to Witches Falls Cottages for a solo birthday indulgence, & it was wonderful. The cottage was secluded whilst being part of a small complex, immediately across the road from Witches Falls National Park.

Everything was impressive — warm ducted air, large comfortable bed, functional kitchenette, wood burning stove (great atmosphere at night), private courtyard with barbecue (to cook your own breakfast the way you'd like it), & a sensational bathroom with a huge spa bath & beautiful glassed shower (so you could look out at the trees & sky). Faultless!

Each morning the aroma of freshly baked bread signalled the arrival of the breakfast basket — how I loved that aroma — with more food than I could consume in one meal (but happily made use of later in the day.

Everything we needed & hoped for was here...quaint, relaxing cottage set amongst serene Australian wilderness, garnished by occasional native bird song & crisp mountain air. Bettered only by the very approachable, easy going yet top shelf calibre of service from the hosts Mark & Kelly, what a team!!

Mark & Kelly had everything organised for us that we thought we'd need to organise ourselves, from Hot Air Balloon rides to massages they had it all effortlessly stitched up, before we even knew where to start. They're knowledge of the local area & services was of great help as well.

So, if you're looking for relaxing one on one time with someone special, star gazing from your Jacuzzi through the bathrooms glass ceiling above you, while the in room ,fireplace awaits your arrival with the locally sourced Cheese Platter delivered earlier to your door....then Witches Falls Cottages is definitely this place!

We'll be back & highly recommend it! Thanks again Mark & Kelly!!

Romance, Privacy and Environment

My Wife and I have just returned from our second weekend at Witches Falls Cottages, and the same, which brought us back again was the romance the privacy and the environment at Witches Falls Cottages.

Both times we were greeted by the lovely hosts at WFC and ushered to our own personal cottage/cabins. Our Cabin had a large modern bathroom which could also be fairly classed as an outdoor courtyard with the huge glass enclosure bringing the comforts of the bathroom to the comforts of outdoor nature, but still with the complete privacy one would expect of a bathroom.

Also the Breakfast hampers were the best way to wake up, the smell of freshly baked bread and a hamper full of fresh fruit, cheese, muesli, etc delivered to your door every morning. Anyone wanting to romance their partner, or couples looking to get away to relax.

My husband I just stayed at Witches Falls for one week. This place is amazing and is such a relaxing place to unwind, the breakfast is lovely and you have two choices to choose from a hot or cold breakfast and you have the most amazing fresh bread cook daily!

You are a short walk from Mason's and a 5 minute drive to The Three Little Pigs which Kelly and Mask suggested which was the best food we have had in a long time. Definitely will be coming back if we get the chance to come to the Gold Coast again.

It wasn't our first trip to Witches Falls and it most certainly will not be our last!!!

The rooms are just absolutely amaaaazing! The cottage was spotless, there was a little bottle of port on the table with some chocolates to greet us on our arrival. The location is central to everything at Tamborine if you wanted to head for out for food, a winery and there’s even some amazing sunrises and sunsets just across the road!

There had been a mix up when we booked through a travel website but from the minute we walked through the office doors, both Kelly & Mark reassured us that everything had been sorted out and our stay was still very much possible. We cannot thank them enough! It was the getaway we needed to both relax and reconnect.

We ventured up the mountain to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and chose this amazing place to stay.

It offered everything we wanted and delivered much more.

Our cute little cottage was very private and very well appointed with everything you could want and need . The spa was amazing and the fire place warm and cosy.
Little touches like an umbrella, a torch , and plunger coffee made even more special.

And the breakfast hampers were simply amazing ! And huge !

We had the most relaxing couple of days wandering around the villages , visiting the wineries , brewery, restaurants and cafes.

We will definitely return to stay again.

My husband and I stayed here recently to celebrate getting married. We were recommended Witches Falls Cottages (along with a few others) however this one stood out in many ways, and most definitely did not disappoint.

Upon arrival we were met with 2 smiling and friendly faces. Check in to our Premium Cottage (complimentary upgrade which we were absolutely grateful for!) was quick and we were shown around our cottage and shown how things work, which was great.

We were able to relax and watch the DVD’s (available at reception) the first night then wake up to our BBQ Breakfast hamper. The bread was amazing being made fresh and the other ingredients did not disappoint. We were so full both days we didn’t even need lunch.

All round our stay was fantastic and I truly hope we can stay here again! If I could give it a higher rating, I would.

The best tonic for any couple wanting some time out - peace, privacy, outstanding service and the smell of the trees. We have been to a lot of B&Bs around the country and this is one of the best. Mark and Kelly are just the very best of hosts! A delightful couple!

And never have we taken the breakfast part of the B&B equation too seriously but the early morning hamper delivered to our door at precisely 0800 with fresh hot bread (baked on the premises) fresh eggs from the resident chooks and an assortment of cereals, jams, fruit, yogurt etc etc put a serious dent in our plans for lunch that day. Thoroughly recommended!

Room Tip: All cottages are private and surrounded by trees - a serious tropical hide out!

The perfect couples getaway to recharge your relationship, this is the place. Situated perfectly overlooking the "Scenic Rim" these intimate cottages offer the opportunity to relax unwind and reconnect.

Our cottage came with a fireplace (and port) already set to go. A magic firewood box - which replenished it's self every morning, and either a self cook breakfast which a Sumo Wrestler would struggle to get through or a perfect continental breakfast - both served with homemade oven fresh bread, local produce and very fresh eggs. A selection of board games, DVDs and music CDs allow you to reconnect.

The hosts David and Daniella are very welcoming and have taken extraordinary efforts to provide guides for making the most of your stay in Mount Tamborine.

Hubby and I were after a romantic weekend away to be able to enjoy some much needed relaxation and revitalisation time together. Your retreat delivered just this and more! Everything was amazing and we cannot flaw anything! The cottage was stunning and equipped with everything we needed, the rose petals created a romantic setting and calmness, the food delivered right to our door was absolutely delicious and fresh (The bread was my favourite ); And the privacy was very much appreciated.

The massages which were included in our booking was something which we couldn't wait for and this also exceeded our expectations! We were provided highly professional staff and made to feel very comfortable during our massages .

We came to your retreat tired, run down, stressed and still in our work clothes. We left feeling fresh, revitalised, renewed and even more in love.

I feel being run by a husband and wife, really enables the opportunity to provide that personal understanding/perspective of what couples are looking for when they are looking for some quality time away and you are just beautiful people/a beautiful couple who ensured we were provided everything we were after and more!

After finding our regular "pethers" all booked out, we branched out to Witches Falls Cottages and we are so glad we did!

Comfortable little cottages, friendly staff and the breakfast hampers and freshly baked bread were amazing!

The bed was oh so comfortable which is a big plus for us whom have slept on the floor on some occasions to save a half back in the morning - no issues here!

Conveniently located in walking distance of town, we enjoyed dinner out and a drink at Clancy’s each night, as well as a bottle of wine at witches falls winery.

The mood for our little getaway was set the moment we got out of the car. The fresh mountain air, the welcoming meet and greet with the managers, being guided down the gorgeous moss covered pathway to cottage 2 that would be ours for a couple of nights. After a quick walk thru on how everything works we were then left to ourselves.

The cottage did not disappoint. We settled in nicely and got the fireplace going, had a nip of port and a chocolate. Cottage was fitted out nicely with a comfy leather lounge. The bed was on a raised floor and comfortable.

One of the best features was found in the bathroom. A beautiful double spa! The bathroom wall was all glass, being winter we kept it closed, but at night with the lights in the little garden off we found we could stargaze from the spa! Very romantic.

To top it off in the morning there was a breakfast hamper waiting for us and it did not disappoint! Bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, capsicum, fruit, orange juice and best of all a freshly baked loaf of bread! It was more than enough for 2 people!

Our 2 days spent here was perfect and I recommend Witches Falls to everyone!

Homely and Romantic ?

If you are looking for the perfect night/s away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is truly the best place to relax and recharge the batteries!

The rooms have everything needed to cook meals, if not plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. The cottage is not far from the lookout for the perfect sunset with your someone special. The rooms have a Spa, fire place and DVD player. You just help yourself to their massive collection of DVDs for the night. Lots of little extras touches too!

And the Breakfast with freshly baked bread was amazing! We had the hot option which was a cook yourself bacon and eggs with everything. Soo yummy! I love fresh bread soo much. It truly was nice to relax and enjoy nature and the comforts of home away from home.

Upon Arrival, we felt so welcomed & important to Mark & Kelly. They are so friendly & so helpful! Exceptional hosts.

The cottage we stayed in was just perfect, so neat & clean, the bathroom is outstanding! With a glass ceiling & wall that looks out to a beautiful green garden (or stars at night) is absolute bliss!

Mark & kelly looked after us with a delicious Vegan & Vegetarian breakfast, the warm fresh baked bread is just to-die-for! We ate it all both mornings! My partner said the eggs where very tasty & perfectly boiled.

I Enjoyed the back courtyard, peacefully reading a book in the beautiful garden. We went for a short stroll down to the rotary lookout & watched a spectacular sunset. We will be returning to witches falls cottages in the future. Thank you, Mark & Kelly for making this experience so great!

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Our greeting was informative and helpful. Our cottage was very clean and the bedding was comfortable.

There is only a couple of things I feel could improve this quaint cottage. The room gets very stuffy being so small and having the fire going. Screen doors or windows would help to have a bit of airflow. Possibly an extra mat for the beautiful spa. The floor became quite slippery and we had nothing to mop it up. Otherwise it was a very pleasant place to stay.

We loved the spa and tropical indoor garden and the glass panels to showcase an outdoor garden. I’ve never enjoyed a spa quite like that. I did add some beautiful bubbling bath milk from Body Shop, which made it even more luxurious.

The breakfast hampers that you get delivered at 8am and prepare yourself from the lovely fresh and delicious selection of quality produce, complete with freshly baked bread is amazing. Enough food for a very healthy appetite. We couldn’t eat everything.

The only thing I suggest if your planning on walking into town as we did is have good walking shoes. They supply torches which we did use on the 2nd night.

Everything you could ask for and more is in this accommodation. They have the fire ready to go which we obviously used. It was quite cool even for September which I always forget about when your in the mountains. So some warm clothing is advisable if your a frog like me. They have a couple of nice touches which adds to the welcome.

There is only one thing I think could make this cottage more romantic would be some nice white sheer curtains. Then it would ooze romance.

Lastly the Bowls Club had live entertainment Friday night which had a great atmosphere, fantastic for a drink after eating out at the Irish Pub. It closes at 12pm so make sure it’s on your list if you want to continue the vibe.

My partner and I spent a night here last month and we absolutely loved it! We were given so much information about the local things to do but we also loved how cosy the cottage was for us to spend our time in together.

We LOVED the breakfast parcel to cook our own breakfast in the morning. It's got everything you need. The bath is beautiful and quite a romantic little cottage in all.

We were so well accommodated, we arrived early for check in and the places were still being cleaned so we went for the recommended rainforest walk and when we got back, we were offered the first cottage that was ready although it was still early for check in. We were so grateful and appreciative!

It's right by all the winery's as well which is a great location!

It was a really lovely stay and I would recommend it to everyone! Thank you so much 🙂
